The Flora London Marathon 2009

This year's race takes place on Sunday 26th April and we'd love you to be part of our team!

You don't have to dress like this to take part!

We've got a limited number of guaranteed places that you can apply for.

Or if you were lucky enough to get your own place in the ballot and you'd like to run for us, we'll provide you with a training plan, a running vest and all the support you need.

There's also an after-race party that you and your family will be invited to.  It's a chance to enjoy a drink, a chat and a much-needed full body massage!

If you're interested in one of our guaranteed places, we need you to raise a minimum of £2,500.

Marathon places are expensive for us to secure which is why we ask you to raise a high amount.

Got your own place?

If you have your own place, it's up to you how much you raise.  But obviously we'd like it to be as much as you can!

Running for Jeans for Genes is a great deal of fun, and we're always available to give you help and support.  Your relationship with us will be a personal one, you won't just be 'a runner'!

Our team last year managed to raise a staggering £25,035!  James and George Morris (above) were amongst the runners who braved wind and rain to complete the 26 mile course.

Hannah Smith (right) lost a close relative to a genetic disorder.  Jeans for Genes was an obvious choice for her when deciding who to run for and she raised well over £1,000.

Jeans for Genes' very own Doron Kristal attempted the distance for the first time and came home in a very respectable 3 hours, 32 minutes and 40 seconds.

He's been well and truly bitten by the marathon bug and this year, he's completing nine runs in as many months!  He's aiming to raise at least £5,000 for Jeans for Genes.
